Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has seemingly thrown shade at her colleague Destiny Etiko following an awkward encounter between the two at the wedding of actress Ruby Ojiakor and filmmaker Moc Madu.
The glamorous ceremony, which took place on Saturday, May 31st, was attended by several stars from the Nollywood industry, including Luchy Donalds, Lizzy Gold, Queeneth Hilbert, and others.
However, it was a moment on the dance floor between Angela and Destiny that caught the attention of many fans online.
In the viral video, Destiny Etiko was dancing with the bride and groom when Angela Okorie stepped in to perform one of her songs for the couple. In what many perceived as a snub, Destiny walked off the dance floor, leaving viewers speculating about tension between the two actresses.
In a move that further fueled the rumours, Angela took to her Instagram page shortly after the event, posting clips from the wedding along with a cryptic but pointed message that many interpreted as a jab at Destiny.
“When light walks in, darkness disappears. Light and Darkness have nothing in common. I am light, and when I walk into a place, my presence overshadows every evil. Legit queen for a reason. Anticipate #queenofguns. Congratulations to the newest couple in town,” Angela wrote.
