Comedian Destalker’s 3-year marriage crashes

Celebrity Gig

Popular Nigerian comedian Destalker has revealed that he is officially divorced, marking the end of a marriage that many fans never even knew existed.

The stand-up star, known for his sharp wit and high-energy performances, made the rare disclosure during a sit-down chat with content creator Timi Agbaje. In the interview, Destalker didn’t shy away from discussing his failed marriage and the lessons he’s learned from it. He said candidly:

“I am happy, I have a happy home. I was married but not anymore. Marriage is not a criteria for a happy home.”

While many celebrities often spotlight their love lives, Destalker had kept his marriage completely out of the public eye, until now. He revealed that the marriage lasted just three years, following a six-month dating period. When asked why it ended, he simply blamed “irreconcilable differences.”

Destalker went on to drop some hot takes on relationships, gender dynamics, and why he believes marriage favours women more than men. Stirring debate online with the statement, he said:

“I can decide to remarry next week Friday or Saturday. But a woman can’t. It’s a man’s decision for marriage.”

Currently, the comedian says he’s not interested in love or romantic entanglements of any kind. For now, it’s career first and no distractions. He added:

“I’m not in love. I’m not dating. I’m not even looking. I’m just focused.”
