Ant McPartlin holds hands with wife Anne-Marie following his successful night at the TV BAFTAs

He was awarded the Best Entertainment Show gong for Saturday Night Takeaway for the fourth time during the TV BAFTAs on Sunday evening.

And Ant McPartlin and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett certainly looked in the mood to celebrate as they beamed at each other and held hands as they headed home in a car following the ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

The TV presenter, 46, and his partner, also 46, could be seen chatting in laughing as they left the ceremony following Ant’s big win with co-host Declan Donnelly

As Anne-Marie’s hand clasped her husbands across the car, her dazzling diamond engagement ring and wedding band could be seen.

The couple made their way to the vehicle clutching each others hands as they headed home and led the departures from the glitzy ceremony.

Ant looked smart in his suit while Anne-Marie wore a flowing purple dress that had a cut-out section around her cleavage to show off her ample assets.

Loved-up: The TV presenter, 46, and his partner, also 46, could be seen chatting in laughing as they left the ceremony following Ant's big win with co-host Declan Donnelly

The beauty completed her look with shiny black heels and toted a matching bag while wearing her blonde tresses in loose waves and opting for a glam makeup look.

Presented by Olivia Colman – the Geordie duo were delighted to scoop the first award earlier in the night, which marked the fourth time they have won in the category and the eight time they have been nominated in it.

A giddy Ant and Dec said in their acceptance speech: ‘Thanks so much, what a great start to the night, we were convinced we wouldn’t get it this year so this is wonderful.

‘This is a lovely cherry on the cake. When we first started the show we were just in an empty studio and walking around thinking ‘is this any good?’

‘We have to thanks the fantastic production team so a round of applause for all of you too!’

Elsewhere prison series Time and pandemic drama Help had successful nights – while notable snubs included Channel 4 series It’s A Sin which won no awards despite 11 nominations.

The awards recognised and celebrated the very best in television craft and television programmes broadcast in the UK in 2021 and the event was back to having a full live audience after the pandemic.
