Fred Durst has $3K worth of items stolen from backyard but thief is arrested and goods returned

Fred Durst had $3,000 worth of belongings stolen from his back yard.

The Limp Bizkit rocker was away from his Los Angeles home when a 30-year-old man walked through a gate and onto his property Friday.

The suspect was seen helping himself to several items during the March 4 robbery, including a violin and a Tesla charger, according to TMZ.

But later the night the suspect was caught and booked for felony grand theft. The rocker’s belongings were returned.

The intruder was nowhere to be found when police arrived. The man was spotted later that night and arrested, thanks to security video footage handed over by the My Way hitmaker.

The unnamed suspect was booked for felony grand theft and the rocker’s belongings were returned.

Investigators don’t believe the 51-year-old Grammy winner was specifically targeted and Fred – whose family was at home at the time – told the website he was just grateful no one was hurt.

The group’s guitarist, Wes Borland, has admitted Fred’s ‘perfectionist’ tendencies played a part the radio silence. Their previous album, Gold Cobra, was released in 2011.

The singer said Durst is ‘so talented, and I love him so much as a brother, but if he’s not ready to do it, he’s not ready to do it.’

Borland claimed he took a different approach to the work. ‘My whole thing is I force things, but I’m happy to make mistakes and get embarrassed and go, ‘Oh, I shouldn’t have done that.’
