Reba McEntire is among seven people rescued from a building in Oklahoma after a staircase collapsed

Reba McEntire was rescued from a historic building in Oklahoma after a staircase collapsed while she was touring the 100-year-old structure.

The 66-year-old legendary musician was one of seven people saved by authorities from the brick building in Atoka, OK on Tuesday.

McEntire was reportedly on the second floor of the building with boyfriend Rex Linn when the ‘dilapidated stairs’ collapsed and left the group stranded.

DailyMail.com contacted McEntire’s representatives for comment.

In a video shared by KTEN News reporter Lisanne Anderson, local firefighters appeared to hoist up a ladder for the recovery efforts.

With assistance from the team below, McEntire climbed down the ladder and appeared to be in good spirits despite the traumatic event.

‘Sure glad she and boyfriend Rex Linn are ok! While touring an old building, a staircase collapsed,’ Anderson shared on Twitter.
