The Wiggles thrilled fans when they all reunited to perform at Carols in the Domain in Sydney on Saturday.

Past and present members of the popular children’s group came together to perform, with the concert airing on Channel Seven on Thursday night.

Fans flocked to Twitter to rave about their energetic performance, which included the group’s four original members performing alongside the newest recruits.

‘Just randomly started crying watching The Wiggles perform at the Carols on TV, I was just so happy seeing all the original Wiggles on stage – they were my whole childhood and I’m so glad they’re all doing well,’ tweeted one fan.

Added another: ‘As a 47-year-old male, I am not ashamed to say that I let out a little shout of excitement and fist-pumped when the four original @TheWiggles appeared on the stage at #carolsinthedomain.’

One fan admitted they were ‘definitely feeling puffed out from singing and dancing to the Wiggles!’

‘The Wiggles have been able to save Christmas again,’ proclaimed another.  

‘As a mum of a two-year-old and a kid of the ’90s, I’m enjoying @TheWiggles both new and OG more than I should!’ tweeted one fan.

Others couldn’t get over how many Wiggles members were gathered onstage, with more than a few COVID-related jokes taking over Twitter.

‘The Wiggles are multiplying,’ tweeted one viewer, while another wrote, ‘This new variant of The Wiggles has a [sic] extremely high reproduction rate…’

Original members Greg Page, Anthony Field, Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt came together for a rare performance.

They were joined onstage by current members including Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce, outgoing Wiggle Emma Watkins, and her replacement, Tsehay Hawkins.
