The Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Godwin Emefiele, will address stakeholders on economic and financial markets development on the economic outlook for the coming year.
A statement said Emefiele would speak at the Annual Banker’s dinner of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria which would hold in Lagos
The event is themed ‘The CBN Governors Day’ and the event dinner would be attended by over 500 leading figures in the banking industry, other business leaders, and senior government functionaries.
The statement said the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, were expected to deliver the goodwill messages, while the President/Chairman of Council CIBN, Dr. Ken Opara, would give the welcome address.
The Chairman of the Organising Committee of the 57th Annual Bankers Dinner, Mr Ebenezer Onyeagwu, who is also the managing director/ Chief Executive, Zenith Bank Plc, had assured that this year’s event would be unique and a number of new initiatives would be added to the programme schedule.
