Singer, 2Face Idibia has asked why sanitary pads are not made available for women to use in public toilets, for free.
This question has however sparked mixed reactions from social media users.
2Face had stated that if tissue paper are made available and free for all to use, sanitary pads should also be available and free.
Many responded to the post stating that sanitary pads truly should be free for women because it’s now very pricey. Some others claimed a lot of young women use unhygienic stuff and having access to free pads would go a long way, while some claimed that it could get stolen or used for blood rituals if placed in public toilets.
