Actress cum single mum of one, Bisola Aiyeola has disclosed that her only regret is not having to pass through the four walls of the University.
Even though it is almost impossible to believe that she is not a university graduate because of her speaking prowess, Bisola Aiyeola disclosed that she still feels she is missing out on something.
In a recent chat with Chude Jideonwo, the former project fame, and BBNaija reality show housemate, Bisola Aiyeola said:
“Till date, I still fill funny about not going to school, I feel like I missed out on a major part in life cos sometimes in gatherings when people talk about a school experience, I feel left out.
I wish I experienced for myself what it feels like to be in the four walls of the university but I feel good cos I have friends who have 2 or 3 degrees but are feeding today from their talent and skills and not using the degrees to fend for themselves of achieving their dreams.
I am okay talking about it now because God has blessed me, I don’t dwell on it.
I feel blessed for where I am today and if I probably went to school, I will probably not be in the entertainment world today”
Spilling further about being a single mum, Bisola Aiyeola in the interview said:
“… my daughter is a gift, such an understanding child. From young age, when she wants something I can’t afford and i explain it to her, she understands and doesn’t nag. Up till today, she is now 12, we handle my finances together.”
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls months back, Bisola Aiyeola recounted how she had to depend on her neighbors for her to feed. According to her, there is no award for suffering as she had once been there.
But today, she lives in comfort and can afford anything she desires to eat.
Bisola used her story to encourage her fans and followers not to give up and to reach for any level of wealth they desire. In her words:
“I just say let me drop this, it is unsolicited, but I said let me tell you guys something. I used to think like that before but not anymore.
Firstly, there is no award for the best in suffering. I can tell you that I have been extremely poor, poor in the sense that I can’t feed myself.
I literally have to wait for neighbors to cook so I can greet them and be on the side where I can afford to purchase any kind of food that I like to eat.
Comfort is beautiful; comfort is essential for you mentally; it puts your mind at ease and at peace.
If after comfort you decide to go for luxury, it is beautiful, don’t let anybody make you feel bad for desiring luxury things”.
