Lottery firm rewards subscribers with car, phone gifts

I LOT Nigeria, an online sports betting and lottery company, has promised to stay true to the ideals of integrity and character in rewarding its subscribers.

The Managing Director of the company, Uma Ntima, said this at the “ILOT predict and win a car’’ promo reward presentation held in Lagos on Wednesday.

He said, “We take the integrity of our company very seriously and this was evident in what we did today. Most of the winners did not expect the reward and even after winning, they did not believe that it is true, but as we stand here, everybody knows that ILOT operates on integrity and character and that stands us out among other betting companies. For those who at this moment were not able to win anything, On the ILOT platform there is always something for everybody.”

Ntima added that the company had employed no fewer than 35 youths who operated in his Lagos office.

He said, “ILOT operating directly from our office in Lagos employs not less than 35 youths. And by the time we begin to go offline, we will start engaging offline agents with their own staff. You now begin to see that about 100 persons are employed in a local government. As much as those betting shops are opening, that is for Lagos. And by the time we move to other states, that is when you begin to quantify the number that will be ILOT platforms whether directly or indirectly.

An Abuja-based subscriber, Umar Ibrahim, was announced as the winner of the brand new Toyota Corolla 2021 model, as other qualified subscribers were rewarded with brand new iPhone 13 each.

Ibrahim, who expressed delight in the car gift said, “The fact that it was a free prediction, I got into it and I am a winner today.  When I was told that I won a car, I did not believe it. It was people around me that encouraged me to come and up till the time I came to this event, I was wondering if the claim was true until I saw the car myself. I feel very happy and lucky.

The Head of the Lagos office of the Consumer Protection Commission, Suzzy Onwuka, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the raffle draw.

She said, “We have come to monitor the event and the reason for that is to ensure transparency, to ensure that people that took part also get what the company has offered to give out. We also want to be sure that they are running it with the terms and conditions of the promo that they have registered.
