Nollywood actor cum politician, Desmond Elliot, and his loyal supporters are rejoicing over his successful re-election in Lagos.
A video circulating online captures the actor and a group of individuals celebrating his win.
Following his successful re-election in Surulere 1 constituency, a victory celebration was held in honour of Desmond Elliot, during which his supporters were seen chanting triumphal songs for him.
Women and men in the gathering could be heard chanting in Yourba that âthey voted and they wonâ.
A cheerful Elliot high-fived some of his people as he went around.
The politicianâs position was slightly threatened when his junior colleague, Olumide Oworu, declared his intention to represent the constituency under the Labour Party.
