You’re a fraud – Mary Njoku calls out popular skincare product vendor

Nigerian actress cum filmmaker Mary Remmy-Njoku has taken a swipe at a popular skincare product vendor and others with similar ‘deceptive’ nature.

Mary Njoku in the post she shared on Instagram revealed that she just walked past a popular cream seller who ‘glows’ online in photos and videos but looks different in real life.

The Thespian urged sellers of skincare products who use filter in their photos and videos to quit being deceptive, all in the name of making sales.

Mary Njoku described people in such category as “frauds”. She added that if sellers of such products are sure of its effect, they should show their real faces. She wrote:

“If you sell skin care products, and you use filters for your promo, videos and images,

You are a fraud.

I just walked past a ‘premium glow’ cream seller/user and…
Learn to be honest with your customers pls.

“If you are sure of the effects of the products on your skin, show your real face.  Shout out those few genuine beauty products out there.”

Mary Njoku’s post sparked reactions from some of her colleagues like Etinosa Idemudia, Uche Ogbodo, BBNaija’s Tega Dominic and followers who seemed to relate to her post. Recall Mary Remmy-Njoku’s husband, Jason Njoku, recounted an unpleasant experience he and his wife encountered with Immigration officers in Europe.

The Iroko TV boss stated that he can never live in Europe again in reaction to the story shared by Sports journalist, Oma Akatugba, after witnessing racial profiling in Italy.

Akatugba had written about how the officials at Milan Linate airport stopped only black folks for interrogation.

Reacting to Akatugba’s tweets, Jason shared the ‘unpleasant’ experience he and his wife, Mary, had in Venice sometime in March. He wrote:

‘’@MrsMaryNjoku & I flew to Venice in March. Immigration asked for our return tix. Not how long are we staying o? But can they see our return tix? We burst out laughing. Immigration was ?. Said it’s a ‘normal question’. Gave them our 1st class boarding tix, and asked them do we look like people here to hustle? We’re staying at St Regis &are here for 3 nights. They let us through. No need for showing any tix again. Walahi I personally can NEVER live in Europe again. We just need a strong ??. But we all know it’s increasingly getting worst.”
