Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha has hit back at veteran actress, Uche Ebere, for criticizing her after she abused a troll’s mother over her real age.
The drama started when Tacha took to Twitter to say she is 23 years old. However, a troll who felt she is older than 23 knocked her for ‘lying’ about her age. The troll wrote:
“We know what a 23 yr old look like in Nigeria
stop clowning…”
In response, Tacha slammed the troll and involved his mother. You wish your mom was this sweet at her 20s!!! Keep CRYING!!!” she wrote.
This didn’t sit well with Uche Ebere who criticized Tacha for insulting the troll’s mother, instead of attacking him directly.
She called Tacha derogatory names and said she should do better if she wants to become a mother in the future. The actress wrote:
“Mannerless, uncultured and full of anger to compare yourself and your age to a mother that has gotten adult children, the gap is too far, except you’re upto the same age with the said mother, direct your anger to the person that hurt you, and not to the mother if you really want to be a mother in future, meanwhile it doesn’t worth fighting for your age if truly you’re really the said age, clear conscience fears no accusations, you pass”
Tacha initially ignored the actress’ comment but when her fans called her attention to it on Twitter, she lambasted Uche and accused her of seeking attention. She retorted:
“Na person wey hungry dey catch! She never fit change wig for like 2decades now. Just pity and ignore her.”
A fan replied, “Mama T, pls stop making them relevant with ur replies”
Tacha responded:
“But don’t you know what i DO BEST?? I resurrect d*ad careers nau. I’m good at this Job”
In a follow-up tweet, Tacha, who is 27 years old, said she was only joking about being 23 in her initial tweet, and that any ‘right-thinking’ person would have understood that she was joking. She tweeted:
“Every proper thinking human being understood the sarcasm in this caption!!
But NO! you want to come off BRAVE!!! if I wanted to alternate my age I’ll do it in real life!!! Not on fokin social media! TF do i owe any of y’all an explanation?! so make person no PLAY again?? Na craze…”
