It’s a difficult Father’s day for me but…– Davido goes down memory lane

As the world celebrates Father’s Day today, Sunday, June 18, 2023, famous afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has recalled what the day used to be like for him.

Davido will be spending Father’s Day for the first time without his first son, 3-year-old Ifeanyi Adeleke who drowned at his Banana Island mansion in October, 2022.

Taking to his Instagram stories to lament how difficult the day is for him, Davido thanked God for strength.

He added that some days would be as difficult but he’d pull through. Davido wrote:

“Difficult Father’s Day for me … But I thank God for strength

Some days will be like this

Water full my eyes

but I’ll be alright! forever! ❤️ .”

Recall Davido who disclosed how his daughter, nieces and nephews get bullied because of him revealed that he has another son, Dawson who stays with his mother in London.

There had been unconfirmed rumors that Davido has a child with London based makeup artist, Larissa Lorenco but he seemed to have confirmed it by sharing that he had another son called Dawson who Ifeanyi was older than.

He revealed this on an episode of ABtalks podcast while talking about his kids.

He also added that his daughter Hailey looked so much like his late mother and he named both Imade and Hailey after his mom.
