‘Internet of Things will drive job creation, business growth’’

The organisers of this year’s edition of the IoT West Africa Conference and Exhibition have said the event will be welcoming 3000 visitors and over 800 conference delegates.

This was contained in a statement by the organisers.

According to the statement, IoT has the capacity to create jobs and support businesses.

The statement said that delegates would be involved in panel discussions and keynote speeches.

The statement read in part, “The event will be welcoming more than 3000 visitors and 800+ conference delegates over three days, who will engage in keynote speeches, panel discussions, and round-table conferences and share ideas and insights into the evolving global scenario of the tech ecosystem.”

The statement further said the event which has been billed for July, would integrate businesses and help them expand their brand’s footprints.

“IoT West Africa Conference & Exhibition is a global platform aimed at driving excellence in the field of technology, encouraging developments in Nigeria,”

“The event has been put in place to integrate businesses and help them expand their brand’s footprints across the globe, contributing to the tech ecosystem.”

The statement added that the event will be immersed in technological ideas and business opportunities with influential people from across the globe.

The statement said that this year’s conference would shed light on transformations in technology to be utilised by businesses and incorporated into the day-to-day lives of Africans.

In the statement, the Chief Information Technical Officer of Nigeria, Mr Kashifu Abdullahi, said, “Embracing the IoT, West Africa pioneers a connected future where tradition meets innovation, thereby creating job opportunities, empowering communities, and forging a path to prosperity for the entire sub-region.”
