The ruling, which dismissed the cases against the ruling party and President Tinubu, has sparked various reactions across the country, including that of Davido.

Taking to his social media platform, Davido expressed his views on how elections are won in Nigeria, emphasizing the role of “ruggedity” in the political landscape.

In Davido’s words;

 “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass,”

One curious netizen, with X handle @chief_ochuko, seized the opportunity to ask Davido whether his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, also secured his electoral victory through ruggedness.

He wrote;

“Na ruggedity ur uncle take win Abi?”

In response, Davido said;

In other news, Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke has drummed support for his nephew and ace singer, Davido ahead of his scheduled performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Adeleke, who is Davido’s uncle wished him good luck as he is set to grace the stage during the closing ceremony on Sunday, 18th December 2022.

He took to his official Twitter account and said the artiste has done well for the Adeleke family and the world, and he is very proud of him. The governor wrote:
