The untimely demise of Kunle Okuneye, Bobrisky’s father, was announced by Within Nigeria, a few weeks ago, shaking the star’s fans and followers.

Debola Okuneye, Bobrisky’s brother, and a close friend and coworker of the deceased, known as “Lastborn,” provided further details about the circumstances leading to the death and the subsequent funeral.

The burial, adhering to Islamic customs, took place in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, the late father’s hometown, at 4 p.m. on August 14.

However, a video of a local religious leader warning Bobrisky against hosting a memorial celebration for his father during the funeral ritual quickly gained traction online.

Despite the Alfa’s cautionary words, it appears that Bobrisky remains determined to honor his father’s memory in his own way.
