- Kiekie in a recent interview with Media personality Toke Makinwa, revealed that she rejected the gift because she knew it would av made her say yes to the guy’s marriage proposal
KieKie, a well-known media personality discusses why she once turned down the gift of a high-end Range Rover SUV.
She stated this during an interview on Toke Moment, a podcast hosted by Toke Makinwa, a well-known media personality.
Toke inquired as to the most expensive gift she had ever received and had to decline. Kiekie replied that it was a Range Rover Evoque from an ex-partner.
She added that it was Valentine’s Day, and the man had seemingly jokingly asked her what she wanted, and she expressed interest in the car, which was then delivered at her home.
Her rationale for declining the Range Rover present was that she knew her father would want her to marry him, but she couldn’t because he didn’t believe in her dreams.
Kiekie revealed in the interview that she was a tailor at the time in Opebi, and he once told her that if they got married, she would have to close her store by 2 p.m.
After hearing her response, Toke chuckled and maintained that she should have accepted the gift and still refuse to marry the man.
KieKie, however, insisted stating, “When you know how to put a man to nice use, then he’s more functional.”
