Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, in a compassionate act, has reportedly extended a generous hand by gifting 2 million naira to the grieving father of late singer, Mohbad.
This heartfelt gesture comes after the somber news of Mohbad’s passing, which prompted Davido and several other prominent celebrities to pay their respects through heartfelt posts on their social media platforms on Tuesday, September 12.
Mohbad was subsequently buried in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria, where friends, family, and fans gathered to bid their farewell.
In the midst of this sorrow, Davido’s benevolence shone brightly as he reached out to Mohbad’s father, offering substantial financial support during a time of need.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Lil Smart averred that Mohbad did not die of an ear infection.
Lil Smart added that the Nigerian music industry is a wicked one.
Recall that prior to Mohbad’s demise, the singer told Nigerians to hold Naira Marley and Marlian records accountable if anything happened to him.
