In the wake of the tragic demise of renowned Nigerian singer Mohbad and the ensuing contentious circumstances, actresses such as Iyabo Ojo, Foluke Daramola, Kiekie, and several others made a visit to the office of the Commissioner of Police.
Mohbad’s untimely passing at the tender age of 27 on September 12, 2023, prompted widespread calls from Nigerians for justice, particularly in light of disturbing videos that surfaced, purportedly depicting him being mistreated by his former record label.
In a recent development, Iyabo shared an update with her fans on her official Instagram page. She revealed that following the cancellation of their planned peaceful walk for Mohbad on September 19, the Commissioner of Police had invited them to discuss the case in his office.
In a new video, Iyabo, along with her colleague Foluke Daramola and skit maker Kiekie, as well as many others, were seen wearing t-shirts with the words ‘Justice for Mohbad’ emblazoned on them.
Iyabo, who has been actively involved in the Mohbad case, assured her followers that she would keep them informed about the meeting’s progress through her page. She encouraged them to ask any questions they had for the police in the comments section.
