Davido has recently engaged in a Twitter conversation with critics who questioned the efficacy of his uncle’s position as governor of Osun State.

The discussion followed the publication of a long Instagram post by a Twitter user criticizing the Osun State government’s performance.

The critic drew attention to the fact that the government had made several audacious claims during the election, particularly the pledge to pay off the state’s debts within a short period of time.

The public was disappointed because, in actuality, the state’s debt condition had not changed. Also, there was a noteworthy absence of openness in the way the money was distributed.

The critic also brought up the cancellation of the OYES program, which had previously given many citizens of Osun State employment and a means of subsistence.

This program’s termination had increased unemployment in the state, which exacerbated discontent.

In response, Davido told the critic to “cry till their kingdom comes” and funnily suggested that his uncle would remain in office until 2031.

Many internet users felt the critic’s worries merited a more serious answer instead of a laughing emoji as the response.

It’s important to note that this conversation took place as individuals were voicing their perspectives about the state of administration in Osun State at the time. In a different occasion, Daniel Regha criticized Davido for his position on the administration of Osun State.

Regha accused Davido of acting as though his family had an entitlement to the state, suggesting that his public pronouncements about good governance could not be totally sincere.
