Famous Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, has in one of her talk shows, advised ladies to stop demanding what they cannot afford from men.

The actor claimed that it was improper for women to demand things from their partners that they cannot buy for themselves.

Toke Makinwa stressed that it is important for women to learn how to depend on themselves and not rely on men for financial assistance.

She also urged ladies to maintain their independence and work hard to achieve their goals, rather than constantly relying on men to provide for them.

In the most recent episode of her podcast, TokeMoments, she issued a warning to women about placing pressure on their male partners.

She highlighted that this is main reason why men insult women because of the tremendous demands that women place on them.

In her words:

As a woman, you’re living in Mushin, and you’re putting pressure on a guy to buy you a house in Banana Island. I’m sorry. Make it make sense. Can you buy it? Can you even move yourself out of where you are small?

“If he meets you maybe like halfway and you are saying to him that ‘Bros, I worked hard to get halfway but I’ve a dream. My dream is not to be here where you met. And I’m not lazy. For me to leave this point to get to that point, you can see the triat of hard work. Are you going to join me to move there or are you going to be there?’ Period.”

According to Toke Makinwa, she feels broke men are intentional when it comes to sex because they have nothing more to offer and as such, channel their energy into giving one a great sexual experience.
