Olaiya Igwe, Adekola Tijani, others pay tribute to Murphy Afolabi six months after death [VIDEO]

Nigerian actors, Olaiya Igwe and Adekola Tijani have remembered their colleague, Murphy Afolabi today, six months after the latter’s death.

Adekola and another film practitioner named Sunday Dada shared a video of the trio via Instagram on Tuesday, November 14, paying tributes to the deceased.

Olaiya Igwe prayed for everyone who supported and came through for the actor before and after his death. He said in part:

“It’s been six months since Murphy Afolabi died. Using this opportunity to thank those who mourned with the family. May we not see untimely death.”

Murphy Afolabi died on May 14, 2023, after a fall in the bathroom at his Ikorodu home. He was buried the next day.

Born in Osun State, Murphy graduated from Ire Polytechnic in the same state. He got into the movie industry in 2001.

In other news, famous singer, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, aka Mr Eazi, has said contrary to popular opinion, his marriage to actress and fashion blogger, Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire and philanthropist Femi Otedola was not a secret.

Hinting they got married in 2022, Mr Eazi said the video of his song ‘Legalise’ was the footage of their wedding in Venice.

While the Music Star who made the disclosure in a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos didn’t explicitly mention 2022, he said he can’t ‘deny nor confirm’, but watching the video which was shot a year ago carries the answer.
