- Grammy-awarded songstress, Tems, has swiftly responded to Rapper Odumodublvck’s assertion that she commands a hefty fee of $500,000 per verse.
- Odumodublvck revealed this purported figure during an interactive question-and-answer session via X on Friday, triggering a wave of reactions among fans.
Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter, Temilade Openiyi, fondly recognized as Tems, wasted no time in countering the revelation made by hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, alias Odumodublvck, regarding her price tag for a collaboration feature.
The ‘Declan Rice’ virtuoso revealed the alleged amount during a lively question-and-answer interaction with fans via X on Friday.
Amidst the conversation, a curious user inquired about the likelihood of him collaborating with Tems in an upcoming project he’s been teasing.
“Hope Tems is on the deluxe,” the user asked.
In his response, Odumodublvck said she would not be on the project, adding that a verse from Tems costs $500,000”

Odumodublvck, born Tochukwu Ojogwu, is known for his stage performance and genre-blend.
In 2022, he signed a record deal with NATIVE Records, in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.
In the same year, he put out his first single titled ‘Picanto’ featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan.
The rapper then released ‘Declan Rice’ – a chart-topping single named after the English footballer. He has received several recognitions for his craft.
The rapper won the award of the Best Rap Single and Rookie of The Year at the 2023 Headies. He was also listed among Wizkid’s favourite artistes so far.
Tems, on the other hand, gained global recognition in 2020, courtesy of her collaboration with Wizkid on the song ‘Essence’.
In February, the songstress won her first-ever Grammy award.
She bagged the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her role in ‘Wait for U’, the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.
