US-based Nigerian Dancer, Korra Obidi had debunked a report that her American citizenship application was denied.
During one of her Facebook live sessions recently, Korra read a letter from the Department of Homeland security informing her that her application was abandoned. Korra exclaimed as she read the letter.
“Oh my God, Jesus Christ!.”
“I submitted a form for naturalization and US has considered my application abandoned.”
However, some media reports subsequently claimed the mother of two was denied citizenship.
Reacting to the report in the comment section of a blog on Friday, Korra Obidi stated her application has not been denied. Her words:
“I have not been denied citizenship, with 6 million followers InstaBlog, you need to do more fact checking before you post fake news, you owe it to the public. My application was considered abandoned as I moved to my new home and they could reach me. Thank you all for the kind messages. Love you.”
In others news, skit maker Maryam Apaokagi popularly known as Taaooma has expressed shock while reacting to fresh claims about her being pregnant.
Several bloggers have been reporting the skit maker’s unconfirmed pregnancy.
Earlier in September, a Facebook blogger reported that Taaooma welcomed a baby boy with her husband.
Addressing the speculations in a recent post via X formerly known as Twitter, the 24-year-old said that if she were to count the number of times she was said to have been pregnant, she would have established a school filled with many children. Her words:
“The amount of times I’ve discovered that I’m pregnant on this internet enh! I should probably own a school filled only with my kids by now.”
Taaooma got engaged to Abdulaziz Oladimeji in 2020.
The duo got married in January 2021.
