  • Mr Macaroni has come down hard on a certain pastor he called ‘strange’, for criticizing a skit he made for HICC.
  • The pastor who has been speculated to be Apostle Osayi, had spoken against churches using comedians to advertise church programmes.
  • Obviously angry, Mr Macaroni stated that the pastor is wrong as he uses his platform to inform and educate.

Skit maker cum actor, Mr Macaroni has knocked a pastor and others who indirectly criticised him for using his skit to promote a church program for the lead pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), Bolaji Idowu.

Pastor Bolaji enlisted the services of Mr Macaroni who goes by the name Daddy Wa and actress Dorothy Bachor to promote a church titled “Next Levels Prayers”.

During a recent sermon, the founder of Remnant Christian Network Apostle Arome Osayi, spoke against churches advertising church meetings using “an obviously strange comedian whose philosophy about life is built on advertising lust in brilliant ways.”Mr Macaroni fumes, drags pastor and critics of skit for HICC

Without mentioning Mr Macaroni or his fellow Pastor Bolaji’s name, Apostle Osayi said:

“Then you are advertising a church meeting and because is about marketing, about numbers, it’s about the likes, it’s about the online community. So a church meeting can be advertised on a platform that is built as an altar of lust. So when you see the principles that can be employed you know what you are pregnant with, whether it is God that impregnated you or whether it is something else.”

However, Mr Macaroni who believed the clergyman was referring to him, also reacted to the sermon via X,  saying that he saw a “strange video from a strange pastor whose preaching in the said video was built on half-truth.” The activist further stated that he uses his platform to teach, inform and educate society.

It’s ok if you don’t understand it or can’t relate with it but please don’t use my name or brand to give mischievous illustrations.”

Mr Macronmi’s statement was met with mixed reactions as an X user identified as Uchay knocked him for referring to a man of God as a “strange preacher.”

“Strange Comedian. Strange Pastor. Nobody mentioned names, I wonder why some of you are crying here saying ‘he didn’t mention your name?’ So did I mention any name? Those of you concerned should search yourselves. Your hypocrisy stinks.
