Ghanaian singer Livingstone Etse Satekla, well known as Stonebwoy surprises many with the declaration of his roots, proudly announces his nationality as a Nigerian.
Stonebwoy, a member of Ewe tribe in Ghana, claimed to be a descendant of the old Oyo Kingdom in Nigeria.
He also stated that his Ewe clan was the first to settle in Ilesha, Osun State.
The dancehall artist revealed this in a recent conversation he had a with well-known Lagos influencer, Ola.
“Me sef nah Naija, no lies. Me nah Ewe from Oyo Kingdom, my tribe migrated from Nigeria to Ghana here, na we get Illesha. Shout-out to my people in the southern part of Nigeria. Check Ewe, we root straight to Yoruba.” he spoke in pidgin.
In another story, Shatta Wale shades Nigerians artistes after selling out Ghanaian Stadium.
Ghanian rave rapper, Shatta Wale who filled Ghana’s biggest stadium at a concert recently, has dropped another shade on Nigerian artistes.
According to the popular rapper, he does not need any Nigerian artiste to fill stadiums in his home country.
Priding in himself for selling out a whole Ghana’s stadium, the Ghanaian singer wrote:
“They said I won’t be able to fill my own stadiums, I don’t need any Nigerian artiste to sell out Ghanas stadium, fuck Nigerian artistes”.
Shatta Wale had lingering feuds with Nigerian artistes Davido, Wizkid, and Stoneboy and had not reserved his hatred
for them. He recently threw a shade at Davido when he bought a new Roll Rolyce, saying that the singer was living off his father’s wealth instead of hustling from bottom to the top like himself
