ProjectGiiV, Heirs Insurance donate clothes to orphanage

Digital charity platform, ProjectGiiV and Heirs Insurance Group have donated clothes, food items and other essentials to Bales of Mercy Orphanage, Lagos.

ProjectGiiV, in a release on Monday, stated that the donation was made to enable the children in the orphanage to enjoy the Yuletide season.

“This donation marks the sixth in 2023 and the 18th since ProjectGiiV began operations in 2021.

“Gifts of clothes, food items and essentials were donated not only to the children of the home but to the workers too,” it disclosed.

According to World Population Review, Nigeria with 24.4 million homeless people ranked as number one in the ranking of the countries with the highest record of homelessness in Africa in 2023.

It noted that the home manager of Bales of Mercy Orphanage while receiving the items expressed her heartfelt gratitude.

She described the donation as a timely and noble gesture that would go a long way in meeting the immediate needs of the children and helping them experience the joy of the season.
