Austino Milado, the Nigerian singer who sang the popular football song ‘Super Eagles Carry Go’ has resurfaced online .
In a video shared by content creator Lucky Udu, Milado opened up about feeling neglected after composing and performing the song, now hailed as a football anthem.
Milado took the opportunity to narrate the process behind releasing the song, alternatively called ‘Walele,’ revealed his aspiration for the song to elevate his career.
He, however, lamented that his dream of gaining recognition through the popular street anthem never materialized because neither the Super Eagles team nor the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) acknowledged him.
When asked if he attempted to reach out to the NFF, he revealed that he contacted the marketing manager in 2002, only to be threatened with legal action for using the Super Eagles brand in his song without permission.
Milado admitted he eventually gave up and returned to the streets, where he now works in real estate, aiming to find success from there.
