WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier detailed about Joseph Aloba, the father of the deceased artist, standing firm on his demand for a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of his grandchild, Liam.
In a poignant video circulating online, the grieving father of the musician made startling claims, suggesting that his son met his untimely end due to a dispute over DNA.
Recounting a harrowing encounter, he disclosed overhearing a voice note wherein Mohbad and Wunmi, presumably his daughter-in-law, engaged in a heated argument. He noted that his son said if Wunmi killed him, she can’t kill all his family.
In the recording, the late Mohbad, who had recently released a song, claimed that if a DNA test were conducted, it would unveil the secret behind his son’s death.
Expanding on his assertion, Mohbad’s father emphasized that he had the right, as the singer’s father, to demand a DNA test for his grandson.
Aloba, in the video, also launched a scathing attack on his ex-wife, who is Mohbad’s mother, accusing her of attempting to reap where she did not sow. He lambasted her for being completely ignorant about their son’s life, including the schools he attended.
According to Aloba, she has the audacity to claim she checked on Mohbad at school, despite being utterly absent from his upbringing and knowing nothing about his life.
