The close-knit circle of colleagues and friends of the late actor Junior Pope, still  grappling with the lingering pain of his tragic passing alongside four others, have unveiled a touching tribute song dedicated to preserving their cherished memories.

In a tribute song accompanied by a poignant video, renowned actor Onny Michael and his companions were captured clad in crisp white polo shirts adorned with ‘RIP JP’ emblazoned across them.

The song reverberated with the echoes of lives and memories shared, echoing the profound impact of their time together.

Among the verses, ThankGod Ikoma, one of the survivors of the tragic boat crash stepped up with a compelling rap, recounting his harrowing journey to survival and reminiscing on the cherished moments spent with his departed colleagues.

Junior Pope was buried in Nsukka, Igbo-Etiti LGA, in Enugu state. He passed away in April after a boat accident on the River Niger in Asaba, Delta state.

Pope’s remains arrived in his hometown on May 17, after which a funeral service was held at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe.

Celebrities who attended the burial ceremony include Zubby Michael, Ruby Ojiakor, Linc Edochie, Queen Wokoma, Chinwe Owoh, and Rita Edochie.
