He was buried in his hometown in Ugamuma village, Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

This is coming shortly after distinguished members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) gathered at the iconic National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, for a poignant joint night of tributes dedicated to Amaechi Muonagor and other esteemed late colleagues John Okafor (Mr Ibu) and Zulu Adigwe.

The proceedings began with a moving candlelight procession, commencing from Marshal roundabout in Surulere around 5pm, elegantly making its way to the revered grounds of the National Stadium Surulere.
