Big Brother Naija star cum social media commentator, DeeOne, has come to the defence of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, founded by Pastor Mouka Lazarus, amidst ongoing controversy and social media ridicule.

Lately, the Church’s slogan, “I am a Chosen,” has been subject to memes and jokes due to viral videos of jaw-dropping testimonies from members.

However, DeeOne has warned against mocking their testimonies, emphasizing that they are possible and should be respected.

DeeOne took to social media to caution those ridiculing the church, stating that mocking their beliefs is equivalent to mocking God. He urged them to cease their discriminatory behaviour and seek forgiveness to avoid facing divine wrath.

“I am seeing that you are making jest of the chosen. Be careful, may you not incur the wrath of God on your head. That man is not an ordinary man that you will be joking about. Please desist from this act. Go and ask God for forgiveness. Stop laughing at the God of Chosen. May you not die young, May you not leave this earth untimely.”
