Damola Olatunji opens up about mending things with his ex-wife

Nigerian actor and filmmaker Damola Olatunji has shared his thoughts on the possibility of reuniting with his ex-wife, Bukola Awoyemi.

In a recent interview on the Talk to B podcast, Olatunji highlighted the importance of prioritizing their children’s happiness and leaving the decision to reunite in God’s hands.

Olatunji acknowledged that relationships can be unpredictable, and if meant to be, they will endure despite challenges.

He highlighted the significance of individual happiness and fulfillment, stating that everyone should focus on living their best lives.

Olatunji also revealed that despite past differences, he and his ex have made an effort to spend quality time with their children, demonstrating their commitment to co-parenting and prioritizing their kids’ well-being.

He said:

The best thing is to let the kids be happy at all times. I’m not going to say never because there are some things you don’t have power over so we just leave it all to God. Relationships are like butterflies, if you hold it too tight it will die, if you let it loose it might fly away but if it’s yours it will go around and come back to you. If it is the will of God so be it, if it’s not let everybody be happy at the same time. The most important thing is we all should live a fulfilled destiny”.

“Despite the fact that we’ve separated, if I see anything that will benefit her I will put a call through. We’ve had time to take the kids out afterward, it’s all about making the kids happy and that’s my priority for now, every other thing is secondary.”
