Instead of engaging in a war of words, the DMW executive chose to take the high road.

On his Instagram page, Davido shared an inspiring post, urging his followers to remain true to themselves, persevere through challenges, and support others in their journey.

Davido finally breaks silence amid Wizkid’s attacks

In a previous report, Grammy winner, Wizkid recently disclosed how the global fashion brand Puma, initially approached him and he turned down their offer before they turned to Davido.

This revelation came during a heated exchange online, where Wizkid responded to criticism from a fan of Davido who took it upon himself to reply to Wizkid’s bitter rants about OBO.

Speaking, Wizkid revealed that he declined Puma’s offer because they couldn’t meet his financial demands.

He implied that their budget, though fitting for Davido, wasn’t sufficient for him.

He went on to state that he is bigger than Nigerian artists like Rema, Tems, and Burna Boy and this has nothing to do with jealousy but facts.

In his words:

“U idiot! I turned down Puma cos they could no longer afford to pay me cos I wanted more! Don’t need dat! Way bigger than every artiste u just mentioned! Not jealous ! love em all…With ur dirty ass shirt! Idiot!

No ! Puma is Big brand! But the budget they had for Africa wasn’t for me! Was cool for your client tho! 🦅”
