Professional footballer Alex Iwobi has expressed his desire to inspire young people through football and music.

Following the release of his debut single “Don’t Shoot” in June, Iwobi emphasized his commitment to empowering youth to pursue their dreams.

Reflecting on his own upbringing in London, Iwobi acknowledged the significance of having a supportive platform to drive positive change.

He aspires to leverage his music as a tool to encourage young people to explore their diverse interests and talents.

Growing up in an area of London that is challenging for some people, I know how hard it can be, and I’m grateful to have a platform to try and make a difference,” Iwobi told BBC Sport.

“I hope that my music is another way of proving that young people do not have to feel they have to fit in just one box. I want them to be encouraged to achieve their dreams and to put their focus into positive things.”

According to him , he has always admired the talent of Wizkid.

In the most recent “Would You Rather…” episode, Alex Iwobi declared that he has always been a huge fan of Wizkid.

“I prefer Nigerian music to English. Wizkid is my favourite Nigerian artists. I feel him more than Burna [Boy].
