Nigerian singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has claimed that he doesn’t smoke despite posing with cigarettes in his various pictures and videos.

Shallipopi claimed that he merely poses with cigars for aesthetics. The ‘Oba Pluto’ crooner disclosed this in a recently released interview with Soundcity Africa. In his words:

One thing that my fans don’t know about me is that I don’t smoke. It’s just aesthetics.

On what inspired him to do music, Shallipopi said, “What influences me to do music is hardship. You don’t want to go through hardship in this country.” Watch Shallipopi speak and reactions to it below:

In other news, Kunle Afolayan has aired his opinion after he and his younger brother Aremu Afolayan reconciled at their late mother’s wake in Komu, Oyo state.

Prior to this, there were rumours that the two brother were at loggerheads and keeping malice for reasons not made public, although Aremu once shaded Kunle and his other siblings while recounting his bitter childhood experience.

Away from the drama, the two brothers have let bygones be bygones. After the wake on Friday night, Kunle Afolayan shared his thoughts following their reconciliation.

In a light-hearted video, the versatile filmmaker asserted that he isn’t just Aremu Afolayan’s brother but also his father.

Kunle Afolayan revealed that he is ten years older than Aremu and he fostered him. He jokingly blamed Aremu’s female friends for indulging him and tearing them apart.
