Nigerian actress Tope Osoba has received a brand new Lexus car from a fan to mark her birthday.

Her colleague, Foluke Daramola was the bearer of the gift who surprised Tope Osoba with the car and a cake.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Foluke Daramola shared screenshots of her conversation with the anonymous fan, who inquired about Tope Osoba’s lack of a car and decided to gift her one.

Foluke Daramola had assured the fan that while it wasn’t yet Tope Osoba’s birthday, the car would be delivered on the special day. Captioning the jointly shared video post, she wrote on Instagram:

“@osobatemitope gets a car gift from a fan for her birthday. Thank you so much everyone for the love.”

A video accompanying the post showed Tope Osoba, dressed in a white garment church outfit, visibly overwhelmed with excitement as Foluke Daramola led her to the brand new Lexus car.

The actress who turned 39 was emotional and could not hold back tears as she inspected the gift. This gesture comes shortly after Tope Osoba underwent breast cancer surgery.

Foluke Daramola had earlier revealed in November that Tope Osoba needed financial assistance for the procedure.

Support from family and friends helped raise millions of naira, enabling a successful surgery.

Foluke Daramola later gave an update, thanking God for Tope’s recovery but mentioning the need for further financial support for post-surgery care.

Tope has since been discharged from the hospital and is recuperating at home.
