Los Angeles wildfire has claimed the life of veteran Hollywood actress Dalyce Curry.

Dalyce Curry, known for her notable roles in movies such as “Blues Brothers” and “Lady Sings the Blues,” passed away at the age of 95.

According to reports, Curry’s body was found at her Altadena home, which had been affected by the ongoing wildfires in the region.

Curry’s granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, took to social media to pay tribute to her late grandmother.

In a heartfelt post on Facebook, Kelley expressed her gratitude for the impact Curry had on her life and described the loss as “devastating.”

Dalyce Kelley, said:

We had a great run. She impacted my life in so many ways. This loss is devastating.”

In her post, Korra revealed how the emergency team’s warning sparked both fear and a sliver of hope. She said while the team worked tirelessly to battle the blaze, they warned of more to come.

In a desperate attempt not to take chances, to protect her children and herself from the chaos engulfing the city, Korra documented the painful decision to pack up and evacuate her home.

Korra Obidi gathered her belongings, secured the essentials, and without a moment’s hesitation, set off with her two daughters to her godmother’s house, she claimed is situated far away from the impending disaster, where she hoped the flames wouldn’t follow.

Fueled by strong winds and dry conditions, wildfires erupted in Los Angeles earlier this week, causing widespread panic and destruction.

Homes were consumed by flames, and the death toll rises as emergency teams battle the blaze. Many residents evacuated, fleeing to nearby neighborhoods for safety.
