Nigerian movie actress and podcaster Biola Adebayo has expressed gratitude to her colleagues, including Tawa Ajisefini, Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Kazim Adeoti aka Adekaz, Odunlade Adekola, Lola Idije and Ronke Oshodi-Oke, for honouring her mother’s eight-day prayer session.

Biola Bayo shared multiple photos from the gathering on the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram on Saturday, appreciating those who attended the event despite the short notice.

The mother of one urged her followers to help her thank them, captioning the post:

“Please tag whoever you know and say thank you on my behalf. Despite the short notice, they all turned up for me. I’m grateful for the love.”

Others she acknowledged for their presence include her husband and actresses Mosun Filani, Regina Chukwu, Folorunsho Adeola, Doyin Kukoyi and Oyinade Adegbenro.

The prayer session was held on Wednesday in honour of her mother, Mojisola Adebayo, who died on February 11 and was buried the following day according to Muslim rites.
