- Ayra Starr is facing heavy criticism online following a photo she posted on the microblogging platform X.
- The much loved singer shared two sensual photos of herself in a fitted black backless dress with deep neckline.
- While fans acknowledged that their fave looked stunning, they urged her to focus and lend a voice to pressing issues ravaging the nation.
Popular Afrobeat star Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe better known as Ayra Starr has come under heavy fire for following her recent post.
Ayra Starr took to X to share two stylish photos of herself in a black gown, expecting admiration from fans.
Shockingly, the post was deemed insensitive by many of her fans, given the ongoing controversy surrounding a Lagos corps member, as well as the economic hardship facing the country.
Recall a National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) member recently called out President Bola Tinubu‘s government over inflation and the hardship faced in the nation.
The corps member’s viral video, in which she also ridiculed Lagos over its supposed bad odour, sparked outrage, with reports emerging that she was being threatened by NYSC officials
Amid this heated debate, the 22 year old’s post was seen as tone-deaf to the situation of things, leading to online criticism. See screenshot of her post and reactions to it below:
