Over the weekend, Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko threw a lavish birthday bash for their sons, Munir and Khalifa, who just turned five and three, respectively.
The party had everything, from the glitz, glam, celebrity guests, and of course, cake. But it wasn’t the decor, celebrity guests or designer outfits that had social media buzzing. It was a simple gesture from Ned that turned a sweet moment into full-blown online gist.
In a now-viral video, right there at the party, Ned was seen cutting cake and feeding it to his wife, Regina Daniels and a friend who fans mistook for the actress’s co-wife, Laila Charani.
The politician started with Regina, smiling warmly as he fed her a piece. But when it was the lady’s turn, viewers couldn’t help but notice the shift in his expression. The smile seemed to have disappeared and was replaced with a straight face.
This sparked brutal, hilarious, and unfiltered reactions from netizens who believed it was Laila.
While some fans applauded Regina for always being the favoured wife, others felt bad for ‘Laila’, who’s had her share of ups and downs in the public eye, including a brief separation from Ned in 2022 before being welcomed back into the family.
