Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has opened up about a disturbing threat letter allegedly tied to a fire incident that gutted her mother’s office shortly after her recent wedding with Tanzanian Singer Juma Jux .
The development, which has sparked fresh concerns over safety and unresolved vendettas, was detailed in a public statement issued by Priscilla on social media.
It was earlier reported and confirmed by Iyabo Ojo that her business office in Lagos was engulfed in flames on July 8, 2025. While the actress refrained from speculating about the cause, her daughter’s latest revelation suggests the incident may not have been accidental.
Priscilla disclosed that weeks before the fire, a letter containing veiled threats was delivered to the office, warning of repercussions tied to her wedding, known widely as “JP2025.”
According to Priscilla, the letter—delivered on May 24 while she and her mother were away in Tanzania for the ceremony—was not read until her return.
The content of the message, which she shared publicly, appeared to come from an anonymous group calling themselves “Aggrieved Group.” It accused the family of causing someone undisclosed trouble and warned that Priscilla’s marriage would be targeted for destruction.
“You put someone in trouble and you’re enjoying giving out your daughter in marriage… Watch out,” the message read. It went on to say her husband was “useless,” and threatened to monitor her for the next three months, claimed her joyful wedding day would not end peacefully.
The statement from Priscilla further noted that the office targeted in the fire had been in her mother’s name for eight years, and the suspicious timing of the arson shortly after the threat has raised serious questions.
She confirmed that new security measures, including enhanced CCTV surveillance, have since been installed at both the office and their home.
Describing the situation as “deep,” Priscilla said there were other troubling developments she could not yet share publicly but insisted that the threats would not silence her family.
She concluded by reaffirming her faith that “God is stronger than any evil, and time will surely tell.”
