In a surprising twist that has left social media buzzing, controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has publicly shown support for her longtime critic target, Iyabo Ojo, after a fire gutted the actress’s office in Lekki, Lagos.

Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram on Tuesday evening, July 8, to share the devastating news with fans and followers. The actress, who is known for her fierce personality and activism, revealed that the fire broke out around 7pm, causing serious damage to her building. She wrote:

“This just happened today the 8th of July 2025 around 7 pm. My office building caught fire. Thank you Lord that no life was lost. The devil tried but failed.”

“What God cannot do does not exist. With God, we will rebuild and bounce back stronger and better.”

While fans and celebrities rushed to show support, some social media trolls, especially on TikTok, began spreading disturbing theories, suggesting the fire was either supernatural revenge or an act of fraud.
