The ongoing feud between Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin has taken a fresh turn, with explosive accusations and fiery words from Iyabo herself.
In a no-holds-barred Instagram Live session held early Friday, July 11, Iyabo Ojo set the record straight following their most recent court appearance, which she described as an ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) meeting—not an actual court trial.
“We haven’t started any case yet… that was just ADR. The case never start,” Iyabo emphasized during the live broadcast.
She claimed that while the judge decided to throw out the case in the interest of peace, the core issues between her and Lizzy remain unresolved. Iyabo didn’t mince words as she called out Lizzy Anjorin directly, making a serious allegation that has now become the highlight of the drama. She said:
“If anything should happen to my children or my kids, hold Lizzy Anjorin responsible.”
The Real Housewives of Lagos star also addressed past grievances, accusing Lizzy of constantly dragging anyone associated with her and trying to control who she can or cannot relate with in the industry. Iyabo Ojo continued:
“You said I always associate with people that bully you… Lizzy, we are not friends and I don’t owe you who I should be close to.”
“You drag everyone you see with me. If anything should happen to me, you should be held responsible.”
The tension between the two actresses dates back years, but this latest outburst has reignited fan interest and sparked a wave of online reactions.

In her own reaction earlier this week, Lizzy Anjorin took to Instagram to announce what she described as a legal victory. She referenced the dismissal of Iyabo Ojo’s ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit against her. Lizzy posted triumphantly on her page:
“BREAKING NEWS!!! IYABO OJO ₦1 BILLION NAIRA LAW SUIT CASE AGAINST LIZZYANJORIN DISMISSED!!!”
The lawsuit stemmed from a bitter feud that began in 2023, when Iyabo Ojo accused Lizzy Anjorin of making defamatory statements about her on social media, ranging from indirect name-calling to disturbing accusations involving her daughter.
Anjorin, without explicitly naming Iyabo, referred repeatedly to a character called “Sepeteri,” which many believed was a veiled shot at Iyabo Ojo.
Iyabo initially demanded a public apology, deletion of the defamatory content, and ₦500 million in damages. When that didn’t happen, her legal team upped the stakes, filing for ₦1 billion in punitive damages.
