
Tragedy has struck the music industry following the passing of Connie Francis, a legendary American singer known for her viral hit ‘Pretty Little Baby’.
According to reports, she passed away at 87 on July 16, 2025, after being hospitalized for a pelvic fracture, which led to pneumonia.
Notably, Francis was a pop sensation in the 1950s and 1960s, with 35 Top 40 hits, including ‘Who’s Sorry Now’, ‘Stupid Cupid’, and ‘Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool’.
She began performing at age four, singing and playing the accordion, and signed with MGM Records in 1955.
