Controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan (Martins Vincent Otse) has accused a coalition of celebrities—including Davido’s media aide Dre, Iyabo Ojo, Samklef, Jigan Babaoja, and Tonto Dikeh—of collaborating in a alleged plot to send him to prison and leak his nude video.
In a video that has since gone viral, VeryDarkMan detailed claims of a “Justice for Mohbad” WhatsApp group chat, where the celebrities reportedly strategized his downfall.
He asserted that his arrest, subsequent imprisonment, and the dissemination of his intimate video to gossip platform Gistlover were orchestrated through coordinated actions within the group.
VeryDarkMan, who rose to prominence via online activism linked to the Mohbad controversy, accused the group of masterminding a campaign against him the moment he began asking uncomfortable questions about the celebrity-led narrative surrounding Mohbad’s death.
He claimed the WhatsApp chat, shared via screenshots in the video, served as the planning ground for his arrest and discreet reputation sabotage.

Reactions to VeryDarkMan’s new allegations are sharply divided. While some online users herald his courage in exposing a possible celebrity-led smear campaign, others criticize the claims as lacking independent verification and point to his ongoing legal battles as complicating his credibility.
These fresh allegations come amid ongoing legal proceedings against him. VeryDarkMan is currently facing a five-count charge including cyberbullying, defamation, and threatening content targeting Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, and Samklef, among others.
He was re-arraigned before Justice Musa Liman of the Federal High Court in Abuja on May 15, 2025.
Prosecutors presented multiple examples of his online posts—including defamatory videos directed at Samklef, claims implicating Iyabo Ojo in misconduct involving her child, and suggestions that Tonto Dikeh misappropriated funds intended for the Mohbad campaign, but pleaded not guilty to all charges and secured bail pending trial.
