Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has officially parted ways with her longtime manager, Mekka Millions, bringing an end to a professional relationship that spanned over a decade.

The singer made the announcement in a series of strongly worded posts shared via her Instagram Story recently, making it clear that she no longer has any business dealings with Mekka and will not be held responsible for any financial transactions conducted through him. She wrote in part:

“I DO NOT WORK WITH MEKKA ANYMORE. Please for bookings contact Vanessa Amadi.”

“Any bookings that go through any other channel will be void, and you will lose your money.”

Tiwa Savage further expressed frustration over repeated attempts by promoters to still reach her through Mekka despite previous warnings.

According to her, a recent call informed her that money meant for an upcoming booking had been paid into Mekka’s personal account, prompting her to speak up publicly once again. She warned:

“I hate coming on social media for this, but I can’t reach every promoter individually. You people will lose your money. I will not be responsible.”

She emphasized that even if the booking eventually reaches her through Mekka, she will outrightly refuse it, saying:

“I have NOTHING TO DO WITH MEKKA. Even if it goes through him and eventually gets to me, I will refuse the booking.”

As of now, Vanessa Amadi, a UK-based publicist and PR professional, has been confirmed as Tiwa’s new point of contact for all bookings and business dealings.

This development comes 11 years after Mekka Millions took over Tiwa’s managerial affairs from her ex-husband, Tee Billz, during the formative years of her solo career under Mavin Records.

Together, they navigated Tiwa’s rise to continental and international fame, making the split even more significant.

While Tiwa did not reveal the reasons behind the professional fallout, her tone suggests a breakdown in trust, especially involving alleged mishandling of funds.
