Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN) has reportedly its terminated contract with Shannon Sharpe as its sports analyst.
This report comes after Shannon Sharpe settled a $50 million lawsuit filed by an ex-girlfriend who accused him of rape and physical abuse.
Recall that Shannon Sharpe temporarily stepped away from his ESPN duties on April 24, 2025, amid the lawsuit.
Shannon Sharpe stated he would focus on his family and respond to the allegations.
However, ESPN supported his decision due to the seriousness of the situation.
It’s worth noting that Shannon Sharpe joined ESPN in 2016, initially as an NFL analyst on ‘First Take’.
