A trending video has surfaced showing a lighthearted but thought-provoking moment between Nigerian music star Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, and TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat, famously known as Peller.
In the now-viral clip, Peller is seen spending time with Adekunle Gold alongside his partner and fellow TikTok creator Elizabeth Amadu, known as Jarvis.
During their casual hangout, Peller posed a bold and unexpected question to the singer:
“Can you allow your wife, Simi, kiss another man on a movie set or in a music video?”
Adekunle Gold, husband to fellow music star Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, known as Simi, calmly responded that he had no problem with it — as long as it was in a professional context.
His answer visibly took Peller by surprise. The TikTok comedian, who has often expressed a more conservative stance in his relationship with Jarvis, reacted with disbelief. The reaction became even more ironic given that Peller himself had previously faced criticism for kissing another woman during a content shoot, a move that Jarvis had openly questioned.
The video captured Adekunle Gold flipping the script on Peller, asking why men are often excused for such acts while women are judged more harshly.
“Why is it okay for a man to do it, but not for a woman?” Adekunle asked.
